You don’t have to try so hard to manifest your desires.
I’ve tried almost every technique out there since I first got into the manifestation community.

Why your manifestation isn’t working (even though you tried everything)
Manifestation is all around the internet. The law of attraction, Law of Assumption, high vibration, attracting luck, the universe sending you signs, 1111, 2222, birds before land.
Here’s this technique that makes you rich overnight. Here’s that method to have a person obsessed over you. Here’s what you have to do to get what you want without doing anything.
People throw out new things to try every day. And you feel like you’re missing out. You don’t know if what you’re doing is working. You don’t know if you’re doing anything right.
And you changed your technique.
Trying to grab this today, feeling motivated. 369 technique? I’m on it. Two days later, you still don’t see any money in your bank account. It doesn’t work. Lemme go on Twitter to see what people do to get what they want. Hmm, vision board on Pinterest? That looks interesting. Maybe this one will work.
The day after, you put all your effort into making the most perfect vision board. A few days later, you’re still looking at it, waiting for your pictures to come to real life. You get bored. And still, your SP is being hot and cold. Leaving you wondering where your ‘I love you’ is, where your flowers are when you hang out.
You’ll get this in three days, they say. You have to raise your vibration. You have to keep your energy high. You have to try this technique because it did them good. You’re doing it wrong if you do it that way. Bla bla bla.
And you’re still here battling, feeling defeated. How can I raise my vibration if I’m rotting in bed? How can I keep it positive when I’m here crying over this text from three days ago? How can I know if I’m doing it right when everyone is pouring their misery on me, all at once?
Maybe you tried everything, and nothing goes anywhere. So you stopped. Maybe it’s not for me. Maybe I’m not the chosen one.
Most of the time, people tell you to do everything all at once. Follow their instructions. Have a session with them. Counseling. Membership. You feel like something’s missing. So you have to purchase.
But one thing they don’t tell you. Is that you’re doing it with a fearful mindset. With a nervous system that is not regulated.
Why Is Everyone Having What They Want and Not You?
But doing that doesn’t get you anywhere.
You need a strategy. You need to know the fundamentals, at least.
Without them, you’ll be lost. Like me. I was introduced to the manifestation world five years ago. I tried things out. But without a strategy and with too much information in my hands, I ended up dropping out of school. Estranged from my parents. Said goodbye to my partner at the time. And voila, diagnosed with a mental illness.
All at once, because the universe said why not.
You see people posting their wins every day. She got her SP back after one meditation. He manifested his dream job in a week. They make it look easy.
So you start wondering. What do they have that I don’t? Am I not believing hard enough? Is my energy off? Am I just not meant for this?
You start blaming yourself. Maybe I’m too negative. Maybe I have too much resistance. Maybe I’m broken.
And the worst part? The more you consume, the worse you feel. You came here to feel empowered, and now you feel more stuck than before.
Here’s what nobody tells you. Those success stories you see? You’re only seeing the highlight. You don’t see the ten failed attempts before. You don’t see their baseline. You don’t see what was already working in their favor internally.
You’re comparing your chapter one to their chapter twenty.
And without understanding the foundation, you’ll keep spinning.
I know because I lived it. Five years ago I dove into manifestation with everything I had. Tried every technique. Followed every guru. And instead of my dream life, everything fell apart.
I’ll tell you what went wrong in a moment. But first, I need you to understand something.
So What Did I Do Wrong? And Possibly, You Too?
The problem is, I wasn’t feeling safe. At all.
And that, my sweetheart, is the secret to manifestation. All that people are talking about.
The fundamental.
As I mentioned, I was introduced to the manifestation world when everything was still young and I was at the ripe age of 19. I knew nothing about myself or the science of my mind, except for the fact that we only use 10% of our brain power. It’s propaganda, I know.
So 19 year old me, looking okay on the outside, was broke. A freshman in university. Parents fighting almost every day and about to file for divorce. I had no friends. Feeling abandoned. Trust issues. Diagnosed with bipolar and depression. Overthinking. And most of all, I talked shit about myself every waking second of my life.
And here’s the thing. I didn’t even know I was in survival mode. I thought that was just life. I thought everyone felt on edge all the time.
Before we get to manifesting a dream life overnight, take a moment to wonder whether the girl mentioned above possibly has it all fixed after three days of saying I have a perfect life?
Moreover, will she ever believe that? Even if things magically turned perfect in her life, will she have enough strength to believe she deserves it all? Or will she ruin it with her overthinking habit that leads to sabotaging behaviors?
The answer is 99% not.
Because, as humans, our brains are wired to feel safe in the familiar. And at that time, having a sad, miserable, and chaotic life WAS familiar to me. All that I had ever known. That zone was my safe and comfort zone. Surely, it wasn’t healthy or safe to the outside eye. But it was familiar enough to my already tired brain.
My brain felt safe and unsafe at the same time.
That’s survival mode.
I never noticed until I started practicing Nervous System Regulation that I had short breaths. I would hold my breath like I was prey waiting for my head to be chopped off any minute by a lurking wolf.
Maybe you recognize some of these. Shallow breathing. Tight jaw. Tense shoulders. Cold hands. A knot in your stomach that never fully goes away. Trouble sleeping even when you’re exhausted. Jumping at small sounds. Feeling on edge for no clear reason.
My jaw clenched. My shoulders tensed. My palms cold most of the time. I even feared my own affirmations.
Those are some signs your nervous system is not regulated.
During that time, I tried everything I could harvest from the internet. 369. Vision board. Whisper technique. Telephone technique. Scripting.
I had a few movements. Then, when the results started to kick in, I stopped. Let my intrusive thoughts take over.
Sounds familiar? Is it similar to your situation?
So, What is Nervous System Regulation?
Before I go further, let me explain what the nervous system actually does. Because most manifestation content skips this part entirely.
Your nervous system is your body’s control center for safety. It’s constantly scanning your environment and deciding whether you’re safe or in danger. When it senses danger, real or perceived, it activates your stress response. Fight, flight, freeze, or fawn.
The problem? Your nervous system can’t tell the difference between a real threat and a perceived one. That awkward text from your SP? Threat. That bill you can’t pay yet? Threat. That memory from ten years ago? Threat.
When your system is stuck in this mode, your body is flooded with stress hormones. Cortisol. Adrenaline. Your brain shifts into survival thinking. Short term. Reactive. Protective.
And here’s what nobody in the manifestation space talks about. You cannot create from survival mode. You can only survive in survival mode.
What Happens When You Keep Manifesting on a Dysregulated Nervous System
If your nervous system is not regulated, even if you succeed in manifesting everything you want, you won’t be able to maintain the mindset. You will always spiral back to your old self-concept due to stress, insecurity, and doubt.
A dysregulated nervous system can come in many forms.
Unresolved trauma from the past. Chronic stress. Even the daily ambient stress you don’t know about. Mental illness. Not enough sleep, hydration, or nutrition. Scrolling on your phone all day. Not being active enough.
And so on.
A nervous system that is not taken care of will always make you feel some sort of anxiety, uneasiness, and doubt.
Here’s an example. When unwanted circumstances kick in, a person who is regulated will remain calm. They’ll be able to focus on themselves and not pay much attention to the chaos because they know how to take care of themselves.
On the other hand, a person who is not regulated will dwell on old stories. Made up lies. They will overthink. And the old pattern repeats itself.
This Is Why Nervous System Regulation Works
When your nervous system is regulated, everything changes.
Your body stops scanning for threats. Your brain has space to think long term. You stop reacting and start responding. You feel safer in your own skin.
And from that place? Manifestation stops feeling like a battle.
You can hold a vision without anxiety eating it alive. You can receive good things without waiting for the other shoe to drop. You can trust yourself.
This is why people who seem to manifest easily aren’t lucky. They’re regulated. Their baseline is calm. Their body believes they’re safe. So their mind can actually create.
Nervous system regulation isn’t complicated. It’s simple practices done consistently. Breathwork. Grounding. Somatic exercises. Nervous system-friendly routines. Rest that actually restores you.
It’s not about adding more to your plate. It’s about giving your body what it’s been begging for.

But What If I Did All of That and Still Can’t Manifest?
The fear isn’t really ‘will this work?’. The fear is what if I’m the exception. What if I do everything right and still fail? What if I’m fundamentally broken?
I know what you’re thinking. What if I do all of this and it still doesn’t work? What if I regulate my nervous system, do the inner work, and still end up with nothing?
I hear you. That fear is valid. And honestly, it’s a sign your nervous system is still trying to protect you from disappointment.
Nervous system regulation is not an overnight fix. It’s the soil. You’re preparing the ground so your seeds can actually grow.
If you do the work and still feel stuck, ask yourself these questions. Am I rushing the process? Am I still consuming content that makes me feel like I’m behind? Am I being kind to myself while I heal?
Manifestation is not a race. It’s a return to yourself. The version of you that feels safe, grounded, powerful, and worthy of everything you desire.
That version doesn’t need to chase techniques. That version knows.
Here’s what I’ve learned. When you regulate your nervous system, manifestation stops being the goal. It becomes a byproduct.
You stop chasing things to feel whole. You start feeling whole first. And from that place, what you want either shows up or you realize you don’t need it the way you thought you did.
This isn’t about guaranteeing outcomes. It’s about becoming someone who is okay either way. That’s real power.

You don’t need another technique. You don’t need another guru telling you what to do.
You need to feel safe in your own body first.
That’s the foundation everyone skips. That’s why manifestation feels like a gamble for most people. They’re building on shaky ground.
