In this video, she talks about not being fearful when manifesting because fear is one of the biggest blocks keeping you from your desires.

She briefly mentions that one way to move past this is to affirm that you’re safe.

That’s an act of regulating your nervous system.

So what is it exactly?

Your nervous system is the backbone of all your behaviors. It’s your body’s safety scanner. It decides whether you’re safe or in danger. When it senses danger, it triggers a survival response. Fight, flight, or freeze.

The survival state is where your manifestations get blocked. Stuck. It’s where you spiral even worse.

The calm state is where you manifest the fastest.

Regulation is how you return to that calm state after stress.

Why Manifestation Requires a Regulated Nervous System

Manifestation techniques ask you to feel as if you already have what you want. They ask you to consciously choose what you desire and go after what your heart truly wants.

This is true across all techniques.

The one I’m currently practicing is robotic affirming. It doesn’t require a strict nervous system regulation routine. You affirm in your mind all day, even when you don’t fully believe it yet.

But it still boils down to the same point. You have to familiarize a thought enough for it to feel safe in your body. Then it manifests.

The same goes for other techniques like living in the end, deciding, vision boards, and visualizing. The point of all manifesting methods is to make your body feel safe with an unfamiliar idea.

Your body has to accept it first. Your emotions and feelings have to accept it. For your life to change, your nervous system has to receive the signal that it’s safe to change.

And your body can’t do that if it’s stuck in survival mode.

Imagine you’re a scared cat.

Every move a human makes sends you running. You arch your back, bare your claws, and hiss at every possible threat.

That’s you with a dysregulated nervous system.

The problem? Your nervous system can’t tell the difference between a real threat and a perceived one. That awkward text from your SP? Threat. That bill you can’t pay yet? Threat. That memory from ten years ago? Threat.

When your system is stuck in this mode, your body floods with stress hormones. Cortisol. Adrenaline. Your brain shifts into survival thinking. Short term. Reactive. Protective.

You crave the peace that will come once your desires finally materialize. Yet you spend every moment worrying and being anxious that things aren’t solved yet.

A dysregulated nervous system sees everything as a threat. Including good things coming your way. Because to a mind and body that’s familiar with danger, a knock on the door bringing good news can feel like someone trying to break into your house.

You can’t decide from a state of fear. You can’t think straight.

The only thing you can do is fight, flight, or freeze.

Over and over and over again.

Until you feel safe in your body, you’ll keep blocking everything. Even the things you’ve been wanting and waiting for.

It’s a vicious cycle. And you’re left wondering why it couldn’t be you. Why you’re such a failure at manifesting. Why none of the techniques seem to work.

Trust me. With a regulated nervous system, any technique in your hand will work.

The Science Behind the Delulu

Delulu is slang for delusional. It’s been circulating in the manifestation community for a while now. It means no matter what happens in your external reality, your mind says no to the old story and keeps persisting in the vision you want. You see only that. You live only that.

It sounds crazy. But it’s the good kind of crazy. It gives you a feeling to hold onto. It gives you something to live for.

Now let’s talk about survival mode.

Fight, flight, and freeze are your body’s instinctive responses to danger or stress. It’s the same system that kept our ancestors alive in the wild.

When you’re in one of these states, your brain shifts into short-term survival thinking. It’s not planning your future. It’s trying to get you through the next five minutes.

Here’s an example.

You’re manifesting money. But right now, you don’t have it. The bills are coming at the end of the month, and your income only covers a third of them.

You panic. You scramble for solutions. Or you shut down completely. You cry. Your mind races. You’re stressed because you’ve been trying to manifest money, and it hasn’t shown up yet. You affirm here and there. You try different techniques. You convince yourself it should be enough for money to appear.

But outside of those few minutes of affirming, you spend the rest of your day drowning in thoughts about how screwed you’ll be when the bills arrive.

That’s survival mode.

And here’s the thing. You cannot create from survival mode.

Your brain cannot hold a vision when it’s scanning for threats. It cannot trust when it’s bracing for impact. It cannot create when it’s just trying to survive.

Living in the end requires a body that feels safe enough to relax into an imagined future.

Think about it. Do you think the universe created itself with the thought I’m not gonna make it running in the background?

Creation requires calm. Trust. Safety.

That’s not delulu. That’s biology.

Your subconscious doesn’t accept new beliefs when your body is bracing for danger. It rejects anything unfamiliar. Because to a nervous system stuck in survival, unfamiliar equals unsafe.

This is why you can affirm all day and still not see results. Your words say one thing. Your body says another. And your body always wins.

Signs Your Nervous System is Dysregulated (And Blocking Your Manifestations)

Here are the signs your nervous system is dysregulated. These could be the very things blocking what you’re trying to manifest.

Physical signs

  • Shallow breathing
  • Clenched jaw
  • Tight shoulders
  • Cold hands and feet
  • Knot in your stomach
  • Insomnia
  • Constant fatigue even after rest

If you notice these showing up regularly, your body is telling you it doesn’t feel safe. It’s stuck in a low-level state of alert, even when there’s no immediate danger.

Emotional signs

  • Constant anxiety
  • Feeling on edge
  • Irritability over small things
  • Emotional numbness
  • Mood swings
  • A baseline of stress that never fully lifts

These aren’t character flaws. They’re signals. Your nervous system is working overtime trying to protect you from something. The problem is, it can’t tell the difference between real threats and imagined ones.

Mental and manifestation signs

  • Racing thoughts
  • Worst case scenario thinking
  • Inability to focus
  • Intrusive thoughts
  • You get results and then self-sabotage
  • You can’t hold a vision without spiralling
  • You feel relief when things fall apart because chaos is familiar

This last category is what separates nervous system work from generic wellness advice. You can do everything right on the surface. Affirm. Visualize. Script. But if your body doesn’t feel safe receiving, it will find a way to push your manifestations away.

I’ve been through all of this. And I still use this list to check in with myself whenever something feels off.

If you recognized yourself in more than a few of these, it’s not a sign that you’re broken. It’s a sign your body needs care before it can create.

Signs Your Nervous System is Regulated

Now here’s what it looks like when your nervous system is on your side.

  • You feel calm without forcing it
  • You can hold a vision without anxiety eating it alive
  • You receive good things without waiting for the other shoe to drop
  • Setbacks don’t send you spiralling for days
  • You feel safe in your own body
  • You trust yourself
  • You respond to circumstances calmly instead of reacting
  • You know you can handle whatever comes because you feel your own power

This is the state where manifestation becomes easy. Not because you’re doing more. But because you’re no longer fighting yourself.

How to Regulate Your Nervous System for Manifestation

If you checked more than three items on the dysregulated list, this is your sign. Take care of your mind and body first. Everything else will fall into place once you do. And you’ll realize how easy manifesting can actually be.

Here are some ways to help your body feel safe.

  • Breathwork
  • EFT tapping
  • Journaling
  • Grounding and meditation
  • Somatic exercises
  • Rest that actually restores you
  • Reducing nervous system stressors like doom scrolling, poor sleep, and overstimulation
  • Consistency over intensity

You don’t need to do all of these. You need to find what works for you and do it regularly.

Does Nervous System Regulation Really Work for Manifestation?

When I first started my journey, I accidentally manifested my SP with just five lines of scripting on a random piece of paper. I wrote it and didn’t think much of it.
